Zaproszenie na zajęcia fakultatywne – podstawy zarządzania i marketingu dla lekarzy i dentystów

Drodzy Studenci!

Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w unikatowych zajęciach fakultatywnych z zakresu podstaw zarządzania i marketingu dla lekarzy oraz lekarzy dentystów, odbywających się w Zakładzie Medycyny Społecznej i Zdrowia Publicznego WUM.

Podstawy zarządzania i marketingu dla lekarzy

Plan zajęć przewiduje omówienie zagadnień z zakresu organizacji i zarządzania, które przydadzą się Państwu w docelowym funkcjonowaniu w sektorze zdrowotnym. Wśród nich znajdą się, m.in. ekonomika zdrowia i rynek usług medycznych, aspekty prawno - organizacyjne sektora zdrowotnego, zarządzanie zasobami ludzkimi, zarządzanie jakością, a także marketing i komunikacja w ochronie zdrowia oraz innowacje i nowe technologie w sektorze zdrowotnym.

Udział w niniejszych zajęciach pozwoli Państwu zdobyć wiedzę, kompetencje i umiejętności z zakresu podstaw organizacji i zarządzania w ochronie zdrowia, a tym samym otworzy nowe możliwości w rozwoju Państwa przyszłej kariery zawodowej.

Podstawy zarządzania i marketingu w gabinecie stomatologicznym

Plan zajęć przewiduje omówienie zagadnień, które mają na celu wstępne przygotowanie Państwa do sprawnego zarządzania gabinetem stomatologicznym. Wśród nich znajdą się, m.in. ekonomika zdrowia i rynek usług medycznych, aspekty prawno - organizacyjne sektora zdrowotnego, zarządzanie zasobami ludzkimi, zarządzanie jakością, a także marketing i komunikacja oraz nowe technologie w zarządzaniu.

Udział w niniejszych zajęciach pozwoli Państwu zdobyć wiedzę, kompetencje i umiejętności z zakresu podstaw zarządzania gabinetem stomatologicznym, a tym samym otworzy nowe możliwości w rozwoju Państwa przyszłej kariery zawodowej.

Invitation for ED and EDD students

Dear Students!
We would like to invite you for several interesting  and unique facultative courses related to global health problems, practical aspects of healthcare management and marketing for dentists and medical professionals.

Global Health - International aspects of healthcare systems

This course will cover the major models for provision and financing of health care used around the world today. The historical development of these models will be traced, and the societal values and other factors underlying countries’ choice of health care systems and policies will be examined. You can learn analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various ways of organizing and financing health care and to evaluate health policies according to a range of criteria for cost, quality and equity.

The course will also examine a number of health care policy issues, such as rising health care costs, quality of health care services, financing of the health care system, adoption of new technologies, and the role of the public and private sectors in providing health care.

Healthcare management and marketing for dentists

This course will introduce you to the organizational structure of dental facilities, compare them to other international health care systems and illustrate how regulatory and legal requirements contribute to administrative and management challenges. This course is designed to accommodate dental professionals interested in learning more about the health care industry.

In frame of this course you provide opportunities to study and analyze an organization’s characteristics, functions, goals, strategies, and decision-making processes. Managerial skill is developed through the performance of administrative tasks and through participation in problem-solving processes.

This course will introduce you to the organizational structure of medical facilities, compare them to other international health care systems and illustrate how regulatory and legal requirements contribute to administrative and management challenges. This course is designed to accommodate medical professionals interested in learning more about the health care industry.

In frame of this course you provide opportunities to study and analyze an organization’s characteristics, functions, goals, strategies, and decision-making processes. Managerial skill is developed through the performance of administrative tasks and through participation in problem-solving processes.

Medycyna podróży – travel medicine

'Fakultet „Medycyna podróży” jest miejscem spotkań osób szczególnie zainteresowanych aspektami zdrowia w krajach rozwijających się. Podczas zajęć omawiane są zarówno tematy związane z profilaktyką przed wyjazdem, występowaniem możliwych zagrożeń oraz leczeniem chorób zakaźnych i spowodowanych czynnikami środowiskowymi (fauna, flora, zmiany ciśnienia- nurkowanie i wspinaczka, jet lag). Informacje dotyczą różnych lokalizacji oraz grup turystów, w tym podróżowania kobiet w ciąży i z dziećmi. Poruszane są również aspekty obecnej światowej sytuacji epidemiologicznej. Na spotkania zapraszani są goście- podróżnicy, aktywiści i lekarze. Fakultet prowadzony jest przez dr n. med. Ewę Zwolińską- lekarkę z doświadczeniem pracy w tropiku.
 
The facultative course "Travel medicine" is an opportunity for people who are particularly interested in the aspects of health risks in developing countries. During the course we discuss topics related to the prevention before departure, as well as the occurrence of possible risks and treatment of infectious diseases. Other conditions caused by environmental factors (fauna, flora, changes in pressure- diving and climbing, jet lag) are explained. The information covers a variety of locations and groups of tourists, including pregnant travelers and traveling with children. The students are informed about the current world epidemiological situation. Special guests are invited to talk about their experiences- explorers, activists and doctors. The classes are run by Ewa Zwolińska, MD, PhD- doctor who used to work in the tropics.'
